Day 1 Meet at the port (your personal guide and car will be waiting for you by the ship side, straight behind the customs). Start with St.Petersburg city sightseeing tour, during which you'll visit the most picturesque and famous sights of our city, often called Open Air Museum, you'll have stops for picture taking and short walks. The tour includes inside visits to: Peter and Paul Fortress, St.Isaac's Cathedral and Church on the Blood. The State Hermitage museum general tour will be a treat to history and art lovers - you'll see the reception rooms of the Winter Palace (the former official winter residence of the Romanov-tsars) and highlights of the world-famous West European art collection. To mix with the locals, I offer You to have lunch/snack in one of the local places. On this day it's possible to see some features of regular everyday life of St.Petersburg citizens: you can visit an active local church and a local farmers' market. To add to Your impressions of the city, you'll enjoy a relaxing river and canal boat tour and see St.Petersburg from water - exactly the way Peter the Great, the founder of St.Petersburg, wanted people to see and admire it. Day 2 I offer you to spend this day outside St.Petersburg, visiting two most famous country-side Royal residences - Tsarskoye Selo (the town of Pushkin) and Peterhof. In Tsarskoye Selo you'll visit the Catherine Palace and Park ensemble and see the magnificent gem of the palace - the famous Amber room. After the Catherine Palace and Park tour, You'll drive to Peterhof and explore the unique fountain gardens, that brought Peterhof the fame of Russian Versaillez. On the way back to St.Petersburg, You can go down to St.Petersburg metro (subway) and see a couple of the most beautiful stations of the world's deepest underground system.

As part of the tour, you'll see the main exposition, exquisite reception rooms of the Yussoupovs and see the family home theatre, known as "the Jewelry Box" of the palace. You will also visit the part of the palace, connected with the murder of Grigory Rasputin. To mix with the locals, I offer You to have lunch/snack in one of the local places. Day 3 I would offer You to spend this day in the magnificent Peterhof residence, also known as the fountain capital of Russia. You can go there by hydrofoil across the Gulf of Finland, and return to St.Petersburg by car, this way You'll get to see two different roads to Peterhof and pass the President's palace in Strelna. In Peterhof I would offer you not only to explore the picturesque fountain gardens, but also to visit the Grand Peterhof palace. You can choose to visit one of the smaller palaces or other museums on the grounds of Peterhof gardens. For instance, You can go to the Grottos behind the Grand Peterhof Cascade and see how the fountain system operates, or You can choose to visit the Royal Baths and Kitchens and see something, that regular museums do not usually show. Lunch/snack on the grounds of the gardens. On the way back to St.Petersburg, You can go down to St.Petersburg metro (subway) and see a couple of the most beautiful stations of the world's deepest underground system.
